Hello! How are you?
This time, I will introduce tourist mobility in the Uchikawa area, also known as the Venice of Japan.
The Uchikawa area is a popular tourist area in the Shinminato district of Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture.
BayCart
The name of this vehicle is “BayCart”. In Japanese it is written as “べいかーと”
This car is an electric car. This vehicle seats four. The maximum speed is 19 km.
This is a rental car, so you can drive it yourself and move freely within the driving area.
It’s a great feeling to ride along the river on this car.
Fishing boats are also clearly visible.
Rental fees are 3,000 yen for 90 minutes,
4,000 yen for 180 minutes, and 7,000 yen for one day.
(The maximum hours of the one day are 9:30am to 5:00pm).
※From May to September, the daily maximum hours are 9:30am to 6pm.

BayGurun
The next vehicle I’d like to introduce is called “BayGurun”.
This vehicle, which looks like a tuk-tuk, is an electric three-wheeler.
Unlike the “BayCart” I introduced earlier, the “BayGurun” has a driver.
This vehicle will operate between 68 stops within its operating area depending on reservation status.
The fee is 200 yen per session.
There is also a plan where you can go around the Uchikawa area for about 30 minutes with the driver’s choice for 1,000 yen per trip.
Lastly
How was it? Would you like to try it?
During the warm and breezy seasons, you’ll have fun at the waterfront area.
Please check it out.
Thank you for reading to the end. Bye.
